Another week down makes it less than one week until Ni is here and we are all together. This mama can’t wait! After a big argument and a lot of tears the day I went into labour with Bo, we realised that this was how this year was going to pan out. Separate, in limbo, apart for long stretches. I was less than impressed. But after nearly ten months, we are nearing the end of the limbo-land we have been living in and actually starting our journey as a family. Together. With ONE plan. Honestly, nothing sounds better to me right now.
We started off the week with a wonderful weekend with my sisters and their gorgeous kids. We went to the roller derby and the beach and out for Indian where Bo showed her Asian heritage with her absolute love for infused rice.
Then we got sick. So instead of doing the many things I should have done this week. We have dragged ourselves around followed by a trail of tissues and dirty clothes and toy scattered floors. Both feeling a little whingy, both slowly on the mend… Nothing quite like the flu to really make you appreciate every ten minutes of sleep you can get.
Bo has been behaving more and more like a toddler. Climbing into drawers, climbing out of the house, taking first steps, cuddling, kissing and meal sharing (stealing).
Hoping for a much healthier weekend, and for you a happy, joyful one, inked in colour.
