I’ve been wrapping up my semester at Uni this week, and with two enormous papers completed I feel an incredible weight lifted off my shoulders. I’m looking forward to a few weeks where I can focus right here, on the blog (which is in the process of undergoing a big facelift) and a couple of other creative projects I have in the works without the extra pressure of study.

Bo has had an enormous turn around with her sleeping, something that I’ve been too scared to write about for fear of jinxing it. But when I’m sure we’ve turned the corner, then I’m sure you’ll hear about it. I’m so pleased that we are both getting a bit more sleep and that we’ve managed to get to this point by doing it our own way. I’m so proud of that little creature of mine, she’s really growing into such a powerful little being.

It’s getting colder and we are finding our new rhythm with the season. Have you checked out our beautiful little give-away that’s on right now? Check it out and support a beautiful artist and get in with a chance to win a beautiful little handcrafted beauty to brighten up your home this winter.

What do you have planned this weekend? I’m still trying to find the right place for us, I’ve heard of a lovely little community an hour south from where we are living right now. Rent is cheaper there than the city and it’s still on a surf beach, surrounded by family farms and natural bushland. On Sunday we will do the drive down to check out the local farmers market and see if I can get a feel for the town and the community. Either way, it is sure to be a nice way to spend the day together.

As always, if you would like to share a link to something you’ve written, or something you’ve read that’s worth sharing… please do right here in the comments. I’d love to read it!

Julie - BO is such a doll, she radiates such warmth. What ever you are doing, keep doing. Oh and totally agree on the sleep thing, if something good happens you just don’t want to mention it in case of jinxing it.ReplyCancel

Sarah - I’m glad you’re getting more sleep. A well rested mamma was never bad for any kid :). Thank you for the recommendation of Whole Larder Love. What a great blog! I showed it to Chad and he scoffed, but I caught him reading it outside ;). Baby steps. Little Bo is such a ‘little person’ lately, as opposed to the Baby Bo she was when I first started reading. What a beauty.ReplyCancel

Jen O'Brien - Hey Sash, good to hear you have finished a couple of papers. It is such a nice feeling when you finally ‘submit’ them isn’t it! I hope the weekend is calming and full of sunshine, and that your trip down south sees you discover a potential home base for you and Bo. Take care xReplyCancel
