Random acts of kindness: see a need, fill a need.

Sometimes it is the smallest act of kindness that can make the biggest difference. We all have things that we can give. Some are little and some are big. Sometimes it is the act of giving to a stranger that is most rewarding. Knowing that a surprise that they will find could change the path they are on today, something that will make them smile.

Some things that we do are enormous, others, like this are very small. A fleeting moment, a simple gift. I’ve been very blessed to be on the receiving end of gifts such as this as I found my feet again earlier this year. And there is no better time than the present to give back… even in the smallest of ways.

See a need, fill a need.

Have you done something for someone you’ve never met, just because? How did it make you feel?

Brandee - Today while shopping this post popped inmy head! While my son (just turned 2) was enthralled with the choice of juice, and trying to choose betwwen apple and orange, an older gentleman approached us and started to talk to us. Heasked himwhich one he liked, offered ideas and together they picked one. He then picked it up and told my son he was getting it for him. So random, yet so kind. As we checked out, he handed the bag to my son , who signed thank you. The gentleman paused, smiled and said that was the nicest thank you he’d received. So sweet!ReplyCancel

Sash - That’s lovely. It really is the littlest things that make the biggest impact. One kind thing a day… if we all did just one kind thing a day for someone we’ve never met… Imagine the world? 🙂ReplyCancel
