Ashloc Designs on Inked (GIVE AWAY)

AshlocPIN IT Ashloc2PIN IT

Too often we talk about beautiful ethically made things for our littles and we forget how special it is to have a handmade lovely just for ourselves. Whether it be something to wear every day or something just for those special nights out, we all deserve a little something every now and again. Do we not? I’ve never been one for sparkles and gold but I do love a unique piece of jewellery, something that I know has been made with care. Something I know comes from someone elses creative soul. There is something very special about that. Isn’t there?

I first discovered Ashloc Designs through Instagram… . does anyone else find they spend far too much time discovering beautiful new blogs, designers and clever people through their beautiful photographs? It’s like a massive web of inspiration. So great! And so time consuming…

Kylie has a gorgeous instagram (@ashlocdesigns) where she shows off some of her most beautiful pieces and a little of her own beautiful life too. Each necklace (and bracelet, and pair of earrings) is hand made without moulds. Each little clay ball is carefully rolled by hand and set and strung on a beautifully delicate silver chain. The colour combinations are gorgeous and Kylie custom makes a lot of her necklaces too, which means you can get exactly what you want. I was lucky to receive my beautiful necklace in the post a few weeks ago and I have worn it almost every day since. It’s light and strong and Bo loves to roll the soft balls around between her fingers when she is in my arms.

It’s really special to wear something that you know that someone has made just for you… and here is your chance to win one all of your own.

Kylie is generously offering one of Inked in Colour’s readers the opportunity to win one of Ashloc Designs’ beautiful Sea Star Cube necklaces and a gorgeous Echo ring in whatever colour you desire.

Then come back here and let us know what colour you would choose for your Echo ring… And that’s it. You’re in… Competition is open for 7 days and the winner will be announced on this post next Monday.
