Blogging brings lots of different opportunities into my extremely lack-luster social life. I’ve been really lucky to make some wonderful connections with beautiful blogging mamas through Inked in Colour. There is something pretty awesome about blogs and how they give you a little view into someone elses world. For me, when I’m feeling alone and isolated here in the village, there are certain blogs that help me to remember that although at times I am alone physically, I am not alone in experience.
When Tamsin from A Mama in Chile contacted me and asked me if I would write a guest post for her blog, I was not only flattered, but excited. Tamsin is a young mama to two beautiful babes who is living out of her comfort zone in Chile, far away from her family and friends – she gets me. She is a wonderful example of someone making the most of the situation they are in, living life and loving even though sometimes it’s just not what you expected it would be.
