PIN IT“A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Bo: The only time she is still. The only time she is ever still. When she reads. I’m so pleased I have already instilled in her a love (and respect) for books. She sits, feet crossed, book across her lap, and she reads, out loud “Bah-bah-bah-bah-dukka-dukka-bah…” with such emotion. Sometimes the book is funny and other times it seems sad. Sometimes it is serious and at other times it is light and joyful. What ever the emotion she always reads with such intensity. She reads… stories from her own beautiful mind.
