We started our week this week up in the city with family and friends. Whilst sometimes the big trip to the city I find draining and exhausting, this time was quite the opposite. There is nothing quite like having sisters and close friends who just understand you, who you can talk to and hang out with and relax along side of without any added stress or pressure. People who love your kids and want to be around them, it’s pretty special. And I discovered a place to buy bulk groceries, spices and grains that may have made my day just a little bit. It’s funny the things we find exciting these days, isn’t it?

Our time in the city helped me to finally come to a clear decision about what I want for us in the near future. I’ve decided where we are going to live for now and I feel an enormous wait lifted off my shoulders. Want to know what I’m doing this weekend? House hunting… rental viewing and browsing rental lists online. It’s time for us to fly the nest once more, I’m ready, Bo’s ready… I’m really excited to get it done! What do you have planned?

You may have noticed Inked has had a bit of a makeover. I’m really happy with our beautiful design and have to credit Blogmilk and the wonderful Brandi Bernoskie for her awesome coding skills and her help getting the site to look exactly how I wanted it to. There are still a few tweaks here and there that need to be done, like a gorgeous new header that is currently being created by a beautiful friend of mine in NSW, but we are almost done! Phew!

You might notice I’ve got a few new pages now, including my daily reads where you will find a list of the blogs I read religiously. Get a hot cuppa and go check them out and feel free to comment and let me know of your favourites so I can go and check them out too. I had a look over my list last night and wasn’t all that surprised that they are primarily food blogs. I do love to eat…

Thank you to those of you who responded recommending yourselves or others for my new project, it’s going to be a bit slow to get going but in the next few weeks/months I will reveal a bit more about the project along the way and hope to launch it later this year. I’m really excited about collaborating with some awesomely creative, out-of-the-box thinkers. If you know anyone who would like to get on board, or you would yourself, just send me an email and I’ll put you on my contact list for when I get the project pitch completed. I’d love to have it done this week, but let’s be realistic… it’s probably a few weeks away yet.

Have a beautiful weekend inked in colour lovelies. As always if you have a great link from a post you have read or written this week, just put it in the comments, I’d love to read it!
