The “Dinosaur Juice” Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 cups of spinach
1 cup of papaya
1 cup of mango
1 banana
1 cup of nut milk, coconut water or water
Method:
Blend ingredients together until super smooth. Add more water or milk until you get the perfect consistency. For a super smooth and cold smoothie (is there a better kind?) freeze at least half of your fruit before hand.
This “dinosaur juice” is a winner in our house. I freeze any leftover smoothie into icy pole moulds so that we can have “dinosaur icecream” after dinner. Mmmmmm… Dinosaur green deliciousness.
Nothing better than a super green totally in season delicious smoothie to start the day. Even better when it makes your tail grow longer and your roar sound louder…
Enjoy x
Michelle - I wish my kids would eat healthy like your Bo. Always makes me feel bad but I suppose I can’t force them!
Sash - They will one day! I think the key is just not to make a big deal. Here’s some food. It’s delicious. Eat it or not. Whatever. x
jeannie - Sash, I love your Blog, I get so happy when I see a new post!
For this smoothy you suggest nut milk, coconut water or regular water. Can I use regular cows milk in this too? I drink 2% Milk but don’t know how that would taste in this smoothy.
Thanks!
Sash - Totally, cows milk works really well! 🙂 GO for it! xxx
Andrea - Oh i Am so making one of these when the monkey wakes up!
