The ‘Not-so-naughty’ Choc Mint Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 large handfulls of baby spinach
1 small handful of fresh mint leaves
2 large bananas (preferably frozen to ensure the smoothie is really cold)
2 cups of cold milk (full cream cows, coconut, almond and kefir work particularaly well)
2 tsp cacao powder
Some dark chocolate chips to sprinkle on top if you are feeling particularaly decadent!

Hint: this recipe can be quite earthy, I really like that about it, but if you are looking for something a bit sweeter add a teaspoon of honey (or another sweetner of choice) or just throw in another banana.

Method:

Blend ingredients together until super smooth. Always enjoy icy cold!

As always this recipe has been toddler tested and got the big green thumbs up. Who doesn’t love a cheeky chocolate smoothie on the weekend?

Do you have a favourite raw chocolate recipe for those days when we are feeling a need for something chocolatey?
