Bo: Sometimes being 18 months old is really hard. But luckily it only ever lasts for a minute or two and then you’ve already forgotten what it was you were upset about and your off chasing butterflies or laughing at shadows or dancing to the beat of your own drum. The absolute honesty in the way that you feel teaches me a great lesson every day. When you are sad, it’s because you are sad. When you are happy, you are just happy. There is no shame in feeling the way that you feel and you see no need to apologise for yourself. You just exist, comfortably in your own skin… and  I find myself learning from you once more.

I loved this beautiful portrait of Cecily, these pictures of Noah and Madison remind me that there is still so much adventure and beauty post-babyhood, and these dancing feet… don’t we all need a pair of dancing shoes like this?

Holly - So beautiful. Those big teary eyes. Such a wonderful capture. I love your accompanying words too, so so true. My littlest is just turnning 20 months and my big girl is 3 1/2 and I so feel for them in these moments. They are so pure in their emotion and expression and that’s totally fine by me.
